Goodrich reminds people of the difficult moments of everyday life and the awkwardness of certain relationships that develop throughout life. Hallie Meyers-Shyer does a great job directing. She has a keen sense of characterization that is revealed over the course of the film. Goodrich reminds viewers that no matter how difficult things are, life is a journey worth taking and sharing with the people we love.
